Syria: Cold, Siege and Bombings Kill Children-Anti Government Demonstrations Continue
ANA PRESS: Damascus, Syria: Five children have died in the past few days in the Duma suburb of Damascus in besieged Eastern Ghouta due to the intense cold and the lack of heating and medicines.

According also of reports from ANA Press, The Syrian Air Force resumed shelling Friday morning on different areas of Aleppo and Hama provinces; according to activists at least 13 barrel bombs were dropped on opposition-held areas of Aleppo, in particular on the Baedeen neighborhood and on areas north of Aleppo, while other barrel bombs hit the Lattameneh and Kafar Zeta areas of Hama.
Syrian helicopters dropped ammunition and supplies on the besieged pro-regime areas of Nubbol and Zahraa, where clashes took place after opposition forces launched a heavy offensive on Thursday. Furthermore, opposition forces managed to take control over the Mallah area located north of Aleppo after clashes against Syrian government forces.
In Damascus, a child was reported killed and a number of people were wounded by a shell that hit the Duma suburb, while artillery shelling by regime forces targeted the Zabadani mountainous area.
Video shows part of the clashes taking place in the Nubbol and Zahraa pro-regime areas of Aleppo province after Al Nusra Front and opposition forces launched an offensive on Thursday. This is considered the heaviest attack launched since these villages were besieged by opposition forces in 2012.
